Congratulations year 11 students!
Congratulations to all the students who finished their GCSEs this week!
Getting back into the exam hall hasn’t been easy, for students and teachers alike, but it marks a great step towards ‘normality’ after the last few years. We’ve seen record quizzing numbers this year on Tassomai so are wishing all our students the best of luck with their results in August - we’re sure all your hard work has paid off!
Impressive stats from impressive students
Despite the challenges, it’s been a record-breaking year with a staggering number of questions answered and Daily Goals completed, leading to a 10.3% average improvement in performance for students using Tassomai in schools.
Our latest stats for 2022 are now available and ready to view in full on our Impact page.
Wishing students well
Tassomai founder, Murray Morrison, said: “Year 11 students have faced the most incredible challenge this year, being the first students to face GCSE exams 'proper' in three years and having had such a disrupted path through their studies since starting Year 9.
It's amazing for us to see how diligently and brilliantly our students have engaged with their practice and revision this year. I'm sure that we're going to see amazing results from all that hard work and resilience!”
Feedback from year 11s
It’s been great to hear some feedback from some of our year 11 students who sat their last GCSE exam on Thursday:
“I’ve genuinely been helped by everything you guys do so much! Including the additional resources and live lessons you ran. Thank you a million times! For English & science Tassomai has been one of my favourite school-related apps over GCSEs!”
“I wanted to check my stats before I deleted the app and since I started using it I've done 36,543 questions which equates to over 3 entire days- 22,254 of those in y11 alone!”
“Thank you! You’ve been lifesaving, especially in the latter end of exams where I’ve just needed something to get me motivated to start revision. Am equally hoping it pays off! (I did get my leavers hoodie paid for because of my Tassomai usage though!)”
As year 11 students make the transition to sixth form and college, a new cohort of students are already gearing up to get started with their GCSEs. Tassomai’s ‘GCSE Survival Guide’ is a free, 28 page PDF with helpful information for parents with children in Y9-11, download it for free here.
Parents whose children aren’t at Tassomai using schools can find out more about our private subscriptions here. We have courses for KS2, 3 & 4 available in a range of subjects, with exciting new content being added in September.
