New GCSE Survival Guide - Practical Advice for Parents of Y9-11s
As a new cohort of students embark upon their GCSE journey and others begin to think about their mocks, Tassomai has published an updated (free) guide for parents to help them navigate what can be a challenging time for families.
What’s new?
Our 35 page ‘GCSE Survival Guide’ has been fully updated for the 2022/23 school year and includes expert advice from teachers of 6 key GCSE subjects: science, maths, English, geography, history and computer science. The guide also has chapters covering mental health and exam revision, which have been updated for the new academic year.
The guide is packed full of practical tips that will help parents to navigate their way through the GCSE years and enable them to support their child.
The guide is free to download from our website at:

How can schools use the GCSE guide?
If you’re a teacher and you think this guide might be helpful for parents at your school please share the download link with them and likewise if you’re a parent, please pass the URL onto any friends and family who might be interested.
Lots of schools who downloaded the original guide have shared it with their parents and uploaded it to the parent sections of their websites to help spread the word. Please feel free to do the same!
