World Mental Health Day
Tuesday 10th October is World Mental Health Day and this year’s theme is ‘mental health is a universal human right’. With this in mind, and knowing the growing importance of student mental health, Tassomai is focusing on opening up conversations with parents about mental health and wellbeing.
What is Tassomai doing for World Mental Health Day?
The Tassomai team has been working on a brand new Mental Health Guide for parents! This 10-page guide is free to download and we hope it will serve as an easily digestible resource for parents, guardians and even grandparents.
We have spoken to psychotherapy experts and mental health campaigners to put together their top tips on how parents can best support their children’s mental wellbeing throughout secondary school. Some of this advice acts as a good reminder of age-old sayings, while some brings a fresh perspective, either way we hope they help your family to conquer the next few years with confidence and understanding.
Webinar: Protecting your child’s mental health
We also have an exclusive webinar for our Parent Club members and private subscribers on Tuesday 10th October at 5pm where we will speak to Alicia Drummond from Teen Tips about the best ways that parents can support their children through the potentially tumultuous secondary school years.
Parent Club is our community for parents who get Tassomai through their child’s school. If you aren’t part of our Parent Club already, it’s free to join! Just head to your dashboard and turn on ‘email updates’ in the settings tab for access to all of our exclusive additional content.
Once you have opted in you will receive a welcome email and be able to register for upcoming webinars.
