Shortlisted for an "AI in Education" BETT Award!
The Tassomai team are delighted to announce that the company has been shortlisted for a BETT Award in the ‘AI in Education’ category for the release of Mai, our new AI-powered tutor!
The BETT Awards are the biggest awards in the education industry and it is an honour to be finalists in this prestigious category, particularly in a year where artificial intelligence has been making such a big impact on the education sector.
Murray Morrison, founder of Tassomai, said about the announcement:
“It is brilliant to have all of the hard work the team has put into our new AI product be recognised by the BETT committee! We are all really excited about the potential ‘Mai’ has to benefit Tassomai students and the impact that AI is going to have across the education sector.”
Why have we been nominated?
Tassomai has recently launched Mai, an innovative AI-powered tutor, to help students with their Tassomai quizzes when they get stuck on a question.
Over the course of the 23/24 academic year we have been trialling Mai and gathering feedback from students, teachers and parents. We’re really excited about Mai’s potential to harness the power of AI and put a virtual tutor into the hands of every Tassomai student.
Today is ‘Mai Day’ on the Tassomai app – we are giving every Tassomai student access to Mai for a 24 hour period – so hearing about the finalist announcement on Mai Day was particularly exciting for the team!
We are looking forward to rolling out the use of Mai more widely on the platform for both private subscribers and students who get Tassomai through their school… and hearing the results of the final award decision in January at the annual BETT Awards 2024!
