Mai, our AI tutor is now available for Tassomai schools
The Tassomai team are delighted to announce that from Thursday 18th January, Mai, our AI-powered tutor is included in our packages for schools.
Students will see the Mai icon (the “Maicon”) appear on selected quizzes when our AI help option is available.
Mai is a great way for Tassomai students to get immediate help with their quizzes if they're stuck or don't understand part of the question.
Students can ask Mai anything they want in relation to their Tassomai quizzes.
Students can use Mai 4 times a week
Mai is available for every subject on Tassomai, but the Maicon will only be displayed on correction and expansion questions (these are the ones students previously got wrong or that build on their understanding).
Each learner will be able to have 4 chats with Mai a week, with a maximum of 10 messages within each chat.
There's a cost to us each time a learner interacts with Mai which is why we need to cap the number of conversations. This cap is something that we might review in the future when we've got a clear picture of student usage.
We're also planning to give parents the option to upgrade to unlimited Mai access for a small monthly fee. This will give families who get Tassomai through school the same level of access to Mai as our private subscribers, but at a heavily discounted rate. Expect an announcement around February half term time!

N.B. Learners will need to be using the latest version of our web/iOS/Android app to use Mai.
