How does your school’s Tassomai engagement measure up?

Teachers logging in to their Teacher Dashboards, will notice a new feature to help them track their school’s Tassomai performance.

Our new national Engagement Rankings show teachers and school leaders how their school compares to other Tassomai using schools in 4 areas:

Engagement Rankings on Tassomai Teacher Dashboard

1. Overall school engagement

How we measure it: Your score combines Student, Teacher, and Parent engagement equally to reflect whole-school involvement.

  • Why it matters: Strong engagement across all three groups leads to better implementation, more consistent support for students, and improved outcomes.

  • How to improve: Focus on the area - student, Teacher, or Parent—with the most room to grow for the biggest impact.

2. Student engagement

How we measure it: A mix of consistency and accuracy—regular use and careful work boost your school’s ranking.

  • Why it matters: Students who use Tassomai often and accurately make faster progress and build stronger knowledge over time.

  • How to improve: Get more students to hit their weekly goals, focus on accuracy (it speeds up daily goals), and use Tassomai across more subjects to maximise impact.

3. Teacher engagement

How we measure it: We track how often teachers interact with Tassomai—any action, even opening their dashboard, counts as an active day. Your score is based on the average active days per teacher.

  • Why it matters: When teachers use Tassomai regularly, it drives better implementation, leading to stronger student outcomes. Engaged teachers are more likely to spot trends, support progress, and embed Tassomai in everyday teaching.

  • How to improve: Build a habit of regular use—set Class Tasks, check homework, or review understanding and usage data.

4. Parental engagement

How we measure it: We look at how many times parents connected to your school have viewed their dashboard in the past week relative to your total number of students.

  • Why it matters: When parents regularly check their dashboards, they’re more informed and able to support their child’s learning. The dashboard highlights engagement, tracks progress, and offers tailored support—like personalised resources to close knowledge gaps and access to live lessons led by expert teachers.

  • How to improve: Start by getting more parents connected (get Parent Progress Reports set up to help with this), then encourage them to check in weekly. A small nudge can make a big difference in how supported students feel at home.

The key thing to know is that it’s easy to improve your score in all of these areas - and there’s a real benefit to doing so. That’s because Tassomai has the biggest impact on student attainment when it’s implemented well.
