Tassomai Essentials 1:
Logging in as a Teacher and Launching Tassomai for Students
Logging in as a Teacher
If you’re new to Tassomai, your login details will be sent to you by email.
If you used Tassomai last year, your login details will be the same as last year - if you can’t remember your password, you can request a password reset on the log in page.
If you’re having any other issues logging in, please contact admin@tassomai.com.
Launching Tassomai for Students
We use Wonde to connect with school MIS so that we can create and update students' accounts automatically (and save you time!). We're continually improving the onboarding process for schools using Wonde. It's the quickest and easiest way to get students quizzing!
In order to access the right setup instructions please let us know - are you connected with us through Wonde?
Resolving log in issues
If a student has forgotten any of their details, as their teacher you can update them. Search for the student using the navigator at the top left of the screen, and select them. Then click “Settings” along the top and update their personal details.
Alternatively, you can find a list of your student’s names and the emails attached to their Tassomai account by clicking on a year group or class and then going to ‘Student Emails’ in the top right corner.
Students in multiple classes
If a student is in several classes, then they should select all of these classes from the dropdown menu when signing up.
If they need to join any more classes at a later date, all they need to do is select “settings” and then click “join classes”. Here they can choose the other classes they are part of.
N.B. Although students can join classes, they cannot leave them. Teachers have to do this for them.
Using Single Sign-On (SSO)
Single Sign-On via Google, Microsoft or MyLogin (Wonde SSO) is possible for any existing learner accounts, as long as the email address used for their Tassomai account is the same as their SSO address.
Use our launch presentation!
You can use our launch presentation to introduce Tassomai to your students and talk through the key features - the presentation also includes slides for teachers and info for parents. You can download the 24/25 presentation here.
In the download you’ll find a PDF and a PowerPoint file. We recommend using the PDF version but if you would like the ability to edit the presentation you can use the PowerPoint version.
You’ll also find versions for schools who use Wonde and for non-Wonde schools.
The presentation prompts you to show a 2 minute video, which has been designed to introduce students to the program.
Encourage students to use the Tassomai app
We recommend telling your students to download the Tassomai app from the App Store or Play Store. Although students can log in via the Tassomai website, we find most students like to use the mobile app.
Note there is also a page for students on our website which you might want to share with them.
