Setting up your students: Is your school connected to Wonde?

NO, we’re not using Wonde yet

We're big fans of Wonde and we encourage all schools to give it a try. It’s the easiest and best way to get students on board, and it enables us to automate a lot of the setup process for you.

It’s also the quickest and easiest way to get your students up and running on our platform. Tassomai covers the cost of this service, so it’s completely free for you.

If you’re sure you don’t want to take advantage of this service, a manual setup is needed.

We’ll need you to provide a spreadsheet of class lists, including columns for the student's first name, last name, school email address, and class. Your school’s data manager should be able to download this information straight from your MIS.

Once we’ve set up your classes, here’s how to get your students signed up/logged in:

Returning students need to:

  • Go to app.tassomai.com/login and log in to Tassomai using the same details as last year or they can log in using SSO (Single Sign-on) if it’s available.

  • Choose the correct class(es) from the dropdown menu

If a student has forgotten their password they can use the ‘Forgot Password’ link on the log in page. Alternatively you can search for their name on your Teacher Dashboard and update their password in ‘Settings’.

New students:

To avoid making mistakes and letting students allocate their own forms, our preferred method is for teachers to provide us with a spreadsheet or CSV of class lists, including columns for the student's first name, last name, school email address, and class. Your school’s data manager should be able to download this information straight from your MIS.

Alternatively, your new students can:

  • Visit app.tassomai.com/signup

  • Enter your school's unique code (you can find this on your Teacher Dashboard in the bottom left corner)

  • Enter their own details (name, school email address)

  • Choose the correct class(es) from the menu

Once they have created their account like this, they will be able to log in either using the credentials they created at the time (on any platform), or via Google/Microsoft/MyLogin SSO (if available at your school) in a web browser.

Note that if the students themselves perform this action it can increase the chances of them ending up in the wrong classes, but any class membership issues can be addressed in your Teacher Dashboard, under the new Student Management section for any class.

If you’re having any issues at all please feel free to email your CSM or admin@tassomai.com, or you can ring us on 020 3380 7968.

You can find lots of useful info, including more about getting started with Tassomai on the Teacher Hub.
